What is really.... embarassing, for the lack of a different word, is that I still get more comments/reviews on this silly Transformers fanfiction novella and its sequal that I wrote almost twenty years ago, then I get on ANYTHING else I have written. In fact, I think I get more in it than EVERYTHING else I have written combined.
After all these years, I still get requests to write a third installment. I just had to write another email tonight explaining why I probably will not write another one. I mean, I like the TFs, I miss role-playing CatsCradle, but if I do go back to writing any TF fic, it will be on her, 'cause... like... she's mine. So there. Go read the stuff on her, if you must read my TF fic. It's much better writing anyway. Heck, almost anything else I've written is better. At least, it's what I try to say, but a little more tactfully, but I don't think they ever listen.
The other stuff... yeesh, I was a teenager.
So I never know if I should feel embarrassed, flattered, honored, silly, or if I should pound my head against the desk a few times.

I've lost track of how many days I've had this headache...
Was watching something I had taped earlier this week and saw that the Transformers movie was being released on DVD on Oct 16th! Wow -- didn't expect it until November, at least, or right before Christmas. It's still in some theaters! Ran right to the computer and pre-ordered from Walmart. Yep, it's cheaper there than Amazon or Target (which does its mail order through Amazon), and the s&h was even cheaper, and I'll get it at about the same time. Got the special 2-disc, 'cause I gotta see all the special stuffs. Hey, I role-played a Decepticon for over six years, so I'm a geek that way. 16 days instead of two months -- I'd be bouncing all over the place if my head didn't hurt so much!
New stitching assignment from GhostStitchers. I had taken a few weeks off to get ready for the eBay holiday selling season. Sent an email to put myself back in the rotation, and had a call with an assignment about an hour later. It's a stamped dresser scarf/doily set that has already been started by someone, and if I get it done by early November, it's about a hundred bucks. Yay.Tags: ouch, stitching, transformers Current Mood: nerdy
